３年前までは、地元のハンガリーのセレクトストアだけで人気だったNanushka。この名前は、オンラインショップでみたことがあったけれど、つい年末に、SOHOを歩いていたら、Nanushkaと大きく掲げられたお店が建築中。フリースタンディング（一軒）ストアを出せるなんて、ここまで人気が出たのか！とKIKIDUNEは驚いたものでした。
Nanushkaは、ハンガリーのSandra Sandorが始めたブランド。
サステイナブルな素材にフォーカスし、なめらかなビーガンレザーを使用するシックなデザインで、一気にハンガリー国内で人気。
今では、アメリカ、アジア、ヨーロッパのトップティアーの、セレクトストア、百貨店では必ず見ることのできるブランドになっています。
新しいブランドと思われがちだけれど、実はブランドが生まれたのは２００６年、ともう１０年以上も前。
脚光をあびるようになったのは２０１６年だそう。それは、もちろん、ソーシャルメディアの影響が大きいことは言うまでもないですね。
